Terra M Vertical Kit: more space in less floor area
Designed for small or medium colonies, this kit makes use of vertical space by separating the nest from the feeding area in a compact, stable and fully expandable installation.
The Terra M module with an anti-fungal plaster interior keeps humidity balanced, while the upper foraging module makes feeding and maintenance easy without disturbing the colony. Its raised structure with reinforced legs and screw connections ensures firmness, safety and a leak-proof seal.

Is it escape-proof?
Yes, all Terra modules feature precision-locking gates and airtight connections designed to prevent escapes.
Does it need maintenance?
Maintenance is minimal: periodically check the water tower level and clean the foraging area if you have one connected.
Is it compatible with other Terra modules?
Yes, all modules in the Terra system (Starter, M, L, XL) use the same modular connection system, so you can expand it whenever you need.
How does the humidity system work?
It features a water tower with an antifungal plaster interior that releases moisture gradually and in a controlled way, without flooding the nest.
What happens if my colony grows more than expected?
You can expand by connecting additional modules or moving up to a larger size in the Terra range; capacity figures are approximate.
Does it connect to my current modules?
The entire Terra range shares the same connection system, so any AntMaster anthill, foraging area, or connector fits together. The exact tube size is listed in the technical specs of each piece, further up this same page. If you're coming from another brand, check that measurement before ordering.
How is the nest hydrated?
The hydration system for each model is listed in the technical specs. On Terra models, the reservoir is built in and refilled from the outside, without opening the nest or disturbing the colony. The humidity gradient spreads through the galleries so the ants can choose the area they prefer.
Can I expand it as the colony grows?
Yes. That's the whole point of everything being modular: new modules are added with a tube, with no stressful moves or changing anthills. Starting with a Starter or a Starter Kit and expanding later is the usual path.
Do you make special sizes?
We manufacture everything ourselves, by hand, so yes: if you need a size, color, or configuration that isn't in the store, message us and we'll take a look. Tell us the species and colony size and we'll suggest a solution.
