A starter kit for keeping ants at home needs three things: a small, humid nest for the queen, a separate foraging area for food, and closures that don't let the workers escape. AntMaster has two.
The 3D Starter Kit (€19.99) comes with the Starter 3D Ant Nest with chambers sculpted in matte PLA, a 3D mini foraging area, an opaque lid, 2 gate locks and 8 softpads; it measures 16 × 5 × 3 cm. The Terra V2 Starter Kit (€26.99) comes with an antifungal plaster queen chamber with a reservoir you refill without opening the nest, a 5 × 6 × 3 cm mini foraging area, a connector, a mini feeder, an opaque lid, 2 gate locks and 8 softpads.
Neither includes ants, but you can add a native queen or colony at €0 from Free ants to the same order (one per order). Both can be expanded with the rest of the AntMaster modules as the colony grows; the next step can be the Kit M 3D (€43.99).
